Splatoon 2 and Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! Won’t Support Cloud Saves

We finally have some sum on how cloud saving will work on Nintendo Switch, though it seems like there will be some flattering large games that will be released from cloud save functionality on a console. As 3DS players substantially know, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Monster Hunter, and other games that could be compromised by save scumming, customarily don’t support that system’s save backup functionality.

So too on Switch, Splatoon 2 and Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! will not be ancillary save backups (and presumably, this will also request to subsequent year’s Pokemon 8 when it does come out). This information was presumably going to be suggested in yesterday’s behind Nintendo Direct, though it can now be gleaned from these games’ pages on Nintendo’s website, where content right during a bottom of a page warns that “this diversion does not support Save Data Cloud backup”.

It’s a contrition that so many vital games are skipping out on this critical functionality, generally since a lot of these, like Splatoon 2, underline hours of harsh that could be lost, were anything to ever occur to a save.
